so many (good) changes!

heyyyyy everybody!

It's your old friend Emily here, ya know, the one obsessed with eyebrows and makeup?

Glad to see you again, haha.

I would say I am going to be more intentional in cranking out more blog posts, but I am not trying to set myself up for failure. Busyness is just the name of the game for me right now...which is unsurprising.

You see, this time of year is a wild one. Traditionally, this is when all the photoshoots pick up because we have such beautiful light up until the evening. And weddings. Let's not forget about weddings.

But I also decided to throw in a few more ingredients into the busy cocktail.

The extra flavors consist of: moving into a whole new shop, selling old furniture whilst fabricating some new pieces to work in the new setup, and to just throw in a wrench....I decided to completely switch my scheduling platform. Who does this?!

Well, apparently I do *laughing while crying*

But there are so many benefits here (I swear).

First, the new spot is in low-key-easy-vibes South East Portland. I lived in SE for many years, and I love the laid back nature of this pocket of Portland. And if I'm honest, we have also gained the benefits of free street parking and more importantly, absolutely delicious food everywhere you turn.

And now to talk about this scheduling platform. I was putting this off for a while because let's be honest ya'll, technology is not my strength! With the help of good ol' delegation, I have a wonderful human helping me make this transition and I couldn't be happier. After the switch, booking will be soooo much easier. Also, all of my signed forms, especially for my tattoo people, will be able to be completed electronically before our time together.

No more paper cuts and more hang out time. I'll call that a perk for sure!

This is my circus right now and although it can be *a lot* I cannot wait to share all this newness with you.

And to throw in one more little GEM, I am completing my eyeliner course full of lash enhancement tricks and beautiful shading techniques to make eyes POP! Check out the work of my trainer right here and you'll see what I'm talking about!

Y'all...it's about to be so good. The requests I have received for expanding my permanent makeup menu are being heard loud and clear and I can't wait to watch this evolve.
