my new scheduling system!
heyyyyy everybody,
I hope you're well.
I have been busy in my beauty world with the main focus of *streamlining* being front and center. In all aspects of my business, really.
I downsized my shop into a little 175 sq. ft. dream. Only the exacts of what I need to perform my services are necessary inside (plus plants, obviously). My already on-point organizing skills are in hyper drive with eliminating the fluff and finding my flow and I couldn't be happier about it.
Also, you may have noticed that I have brought up switching scheduling platforms a time or two in the past. It took me a minute, but with the power of delegation and patience, we made it y'all. I've been paying attention to all of your gracious feedback over the years and Acuity Scheduling was not the most user friendly. So, I did a little research *puts on glasses* and narrowed down to the delightful Square appointments for my scheduling service.
Some Highlighted Changes are:
There is no difference between current clients and past clients when it comes to booking a service.
Less clicking for you when you are booking a service.
Straight to the point booking for ease of use and time saving convenience (yay!).
THOSE WITH APPOINTMENTS ALREADY BOOKED:
For those of you that had current appointments booked through the Acuity system, you will be receiving notifications through Square confirming that the appointment has been transferred.
If you do not receive a Notification from Square in regards to your upcoming appointment, do not panic. Many of your appointments I had put into my personal calendar the old fashioned way when the integration of Acuity to Square was taking place. Your appointment is still accounted for and if you need confirmation, please shoot me an email.

One last thing: A task I loathe more than washing makeup brushes is printing paperwork and filing paperwork (who knows why it just is). So, we are kiboshing that. Again, with my good friend *delegation* all of my paperforms have been electronified and will be that way for infinite and beyond. For upcoming appointments I will send electronic forms before our scheduled appointment to save time and the trees. Soon this will be integrated into Square appointments and it will be one-big-streamlined-happy-family. Yay again!
We have some more fun things coming around the corner that will be officially ready to book- very soon :) lash enhancement tattoo and henna eyebrows. More info to come on these in the next few emails!
