When I'm not doing eyebrows, I love to...

teach everything I know about makeup in the hopes of teaching and in turn...demystifying. Making routines more simple. Keeping someone from throwing away all of their products because they've been told they have all the "wrong" stuff.

I gotta say...this industry I am in is a sneaky mofo. The beauty industry banks on over-the-top packaging and far fetched brand "stories" to leave customers feeling like they don't have the right stuff and therefore, will never reach a fictional level of "beauty."

Yo. I hate that.

Don't get me wrong, there are brands I like more than others, and a lot of that is based off of ingredients and performance. Buttttt the blatant confusion-causing marketing and the sorcery of what were once eyeshadows that were repackaged and now sold as cheek highlighters...that right there pisses me off.

What am I getting at?

If someone were to teach you that most makeup products are repackaged and branded to something for another part of the face...usually having a very similar formula...and in reality that one product you own could be used at least 3 different ways...I am gonna assume that that could be helpful.

Well that's what I did last Wednesday on Instagram LIVE with my friend and stylist extraordinaire Robin Allen.

We went over the current products in Robin's makeup bag. We discussed what she doesn't like with her current routine. Then we used her products, in different ways, to give her a completely different look. Check it out here!

Oftentimes, we go through the products a client doesn't want to part ways with, and then I offer up product recommendations to fill in the makeup routine "holes" that will take their current kit to a NEXT LEVEL kit, lol.
