"You have rocked my world and changed my life in the last few days!"

I didn't anticipate hearing from a client that I had changed their life from our makeup lesson together...but I should have known!

Creating a customized makeup routine that takes minutes to complete PLUS using delicious, safe, and clean makeup products that actually perform! WHAT?!

See, I should have known that a life would be changed.

Here is the whole blurb that Erin said following our makeup lesson together:

"I can't even tell you how much you have rocked my world and changed my life in the last few days! I have been having SO MUCH FUN playing with my new products! Thank you and I don't even know all the ways that I can express how that session has changed things for me!"

Those right there are the best words to hear for a brow and beauty gal like me, I tell ya.

You see, so many of my clients feel guilty that they don't know how to do their makeup. I hate that. I don't hate THEM (of course). I hate the stupid pressure placed on womxn that we should just "know" how to makeup.

FALSE.

And I always respond with "I am sure I am horrible at your job." This is indeed TRUE, my beautiful client. So let's remove the pressure.

I just know this stuff because I do this stuff! Every. Day.

Which brings me to makeup lessons:

  • If you have been craving a new, simplified routine with products that are DELICIOUS and multi-use, come see me.

  • If you have done the same look for decades and want a refresh, come see me.

  • If you are less than thrilled about your current makeup and are even less enthused at the idea of reading tons of reviews to find your next concealer, come see me.

Anyways, back to Erin's makeup lesson.

We started by discussing what she had currently been using in her skincare and makeup routine, what she feels she's missing, plus makeup goals and favorite types of finishes for skin and lip products.

Then I went to workkkk, honey *snaps*

I brought out some of my favorites from Glo Skin Beauty (remember, the 'delicious' products I have been alluding to this entire time?) ...and we started from square one.

First, we based her skin with the Tinted Primer SPF 30 that is amazing for blurring pores and fine lines while creating a tacky base for other products to adhere to. (AKA, provides longwear, AKA winner!) Plus it contains an amazing mineral based SPF 30...and I will never be mad about sun protection.

Then we quickly whipped up her entire look with the following products: cream blush, eyeshadow stick, mascara, concealer, and lipstick.

Boom.

I put together a face chart showing where I used all of the products for when she applies makeup at home, plus a follow up email with the order of operations (nerddddd).

I'd say the makeup lessons are a good time and from the sounds of it, Erin thinks so, too (awwwwww).
